Why Might You See a Little Toner Powder? 📦
During production, testing, packaging, or transportation, a small amount of residual toner may occasionally appear on the cartridge surface.
If it is only a small trace of toner, the cartridge is intact, and there is no continuous leakage, it usually does not indicate a serious problem.
What Should You Check Before Installation? 🔍
Before using the cartridge, check:
- Whether the cartridge housing is cracked or damaged
- Whether there is a large amount of loose toner
- Whether toner continues to leak after gently handling the cartridge
- Whether the protective parts are intact
If everything looks normal and there is only a little toner residue, you can usually clean the visible powder carefully and install the cartridge.
When Should You Contact the Seller? ⚠️
If you notice a large amount of toner powder, obvious leakage, a cracked cartridge, or repeated toner leakage during use, stop using it and contact the seller for support.
These situations are different from finding only a small amount of toner residue after opening the package.
✔ A Little Toner Residue Doesn’t Always Mean a Defect
👉 A small trace of toner after unpacking is not necessarily a quality problem. Check the cartridge condition first. If there is heavy or continuous leakage, contact the seller before continuing to use it.
