How do I install the toner cartridge?

Replace the toner cartridge

1.  Open the front cover.
   Press the open button (1) on the top of the front cover and gently open it (2).
2. Remove the toner cartridge from the printer.
3. Remove the new toner cartridge from the box.
4. Remove the toner cartridge from its protective bag.
   The protective bag has a cutout where the arrow points, so you can open it manually. However, if you cannot open the bag manually, use scissors to cut the bag without damaging the toner cartridge.
5. Hold the toner cartridge as shown in the figure, and then gently shake it 5 or 6 times to distribute the toner evenly inside the toner cartridge.
6. Place the toner cartridge on a flat surface.
7. Pull out the sealing strip.
   Hold the toner cartridge firmly , hook the tab with your finger(1), and fold it over.
   Gently pull out the sealing strip (approximately 45 cm long) straight in the direction of the arrow (2).Caution:
   When removing the sealing tape, do not pull it out at an angle. If the sealing strip breaks, it may be difficult to remove it completely.
   If the sealing tape becomes stuck while removing it, continue pulling until it is completely removed. If the sealing tape remains inside the toner cartridge, print quality may deteriorate.
8. Install the toner cartridge.
   Align the sides (A) of the toner cartridge with the toner cartridge guides inside the printer, and push the toner cartridge firmly into the printer until it touches the rear of the printer.
9. Close the front cover.
   Close the front cover gently, but firmly. Make sure the toner cartridge is properly inserted; forcing it closed may damage it. For more detailed information on toner cartridge operation, please visit ASTA Office.sa
